GLSV supports Griffon Aerospace on Future Tactical UAS.

Valiant – Griffon Aerospace

Great Lakes Sound and Vibration is supporting Griffon Aerospace’s efforts on the Future Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System (FTUAS) program.  Griffon Aerospace has received a contract to build prototypes of tactical unmanned vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft for the US Army.  The new system will be able to rapidly and vertically take off and land as well as offer more maneuverability and lower acoustic signature, all without the need for a runway.

Griffon selected GLSV to design and build the custom exhaust system for its unmanned aircraft. GLSV designs custom exhaust systems to withstand the challenging warfare environments for military aerospace, ground combat vehicle, and naval vessel applications. All of GLSV’s exhaust systems are custom designed to meet challenging airflow and acoustic requirements.  They are built to withstand shock, vibration, extreme temperatures, fatigue, and other loading conditions. GLSV designs and manufactures exhaust systems in accordance with strict military welding and quality requirements.
