Great Lakes Sound and Vibration has been selected by DLA Aviation to manufacture, test, and supply duct assemblies for the F-16 aircraft. The F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American, single-engine, supersonic, multirole, fourth-generation fighter aircraft. This single engine, highly maneuverable tactical fighter jet is much smaller and lighter than its predecessors and the first aircraft designed and built to pull 9-g maneuvers. Since the first model took flight in 1974, there have been over 4,500 airborne F-16s around the globe.
