The Employees of Great Lakes Sound & Vibration enjoyed a Friday afternoon on the golf course, competing in the GLSV Employee Open Championship. Following a delicious lunch provided by Jazzy’s Pub and Grille, nine different teams comprised of members from every GLSV department competed in a golf scramble hosted by the Calumet Golf Club. Two teams rose to the top of the leaderboard with a score of -3. Following a tightly contested and highly controversial sudden death chip-off, the team of Clark Kangas, Matthew Halonen, Chase Anderson, Waylon Tolkinen, and Jed Anderson emerged victorious. The beautiful, late August weather in the Keweenaw Peninsula allowed for a great afternoon of recreation, competition, and comradery.
