SPACE GEAR MARK 510 II
Great Lakes Sound and Vibration has invested in laser cutting for flat and multi axis parts with the addition of a laser table and longitudinal seam welder. The SPACE GEAR MARK II is an all-in-one laser center. It provides the flexibility to perform high speed cutting of sheet and plate metal, as well as the cutting of pre-formed parts.
Also added to the manufacturing arsenal is a longitudinal seam welder. This allows us to increase speed at the weld joint and decrease the necessary weld pressure. Difficult and thinner materials can be welded more feasibly with a consistently high quality.
Both of these additions will help create faster turnaround times for the products that are manufactured in-house.
