GLSV was selected by DLA Land and Maritime to supply winches and associated mounting brackets for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV). The winch is designed to be mounted to the front bumper of the JLTV and driven by the vehicle power take-off or an integral power unit. It is useful for recovery operations such as when the vehicle itself or another vehicle is mired in mud.
