North American Presence for Acoustic
Software
Great Lakes Sound
& Vibration (GLSV) has signed an
agreement with Scientific and Technical
Software (STS) to be the sole North
American value added reseller of Vnoise,
a software package for vibroacoustic
modeling and prediction.
Vnoise is a complete vibroacoustic
solution offering geometry creation,
discretization, boundary element
formulation and solution including
parallel computation, post processing
and audio playback. Typical applications
include internal and external vehicle
noise, acoustic ducts and mufflers, and
noise radiated from structures.
Additional software is available for
modeling acoustic properties of
multilayered panels, acquiring and
analyzing noise and vibration data, and
visualizing operating deflection shapes. |
